Furniture x Sculpture

Ann Tiukinhoy Pamintuan is a leading contemporary designer and artist from the Philippines, whose works have garnered prestigious reviews and awards from international and national jurors and critics in the field of design.

Born and raised in Surigao in southern Philippines, Ann early on developed a heightened sensitivity to the wonders of the natural world around her. She later moved to Davao, also located in the southern part of the country, where she discovered an abundance of material resources for her artistic works.

She is one of the very few Filipino women designers who choose to work primarily with metal. She transforms this preferred medium into very graceful and compelling functional forms and metal motifs that have defined her distinctive artistic innovations in her furniture, jewelry, and sculptures.
